A Farewell to Arms Vlog Responses

In a vlog (video blog) you are to respond to one of the questions asked. You should candidly respond in a 1 minute- 1:30 second video that will be sent to me. You must support your response with at least 1 QUOTE from the text.

A few tips when vlogging:

-Decide if you want to have a script in front of you or speak impromptu
- Plan your video session wisely. Look at the prompts ahead of time, then film. Maybe make an outline of your talking points.
- Don’t worry about being awkward
- Use eye contact/connect
- Use headsets or record some place quiet. Avoid background noise.
- Be aware of your background.
- Be aware of lighting
- You can be playful! Try jump cuts, black and white, comment bubbles etc.
- This is a real conversation. Put yourself into it. Feel free to ask me a question in it.
- Do take this assignment as a grade. Yes, we can be playful, but I expect some thoughtful and analytical dialogue.
